Estefanía Pesantez, born in Cuenca - Ecuador, 1996. He studied Social Communication, journalism mention at the University of Cuenca, where he began his passion for audiovisual documentary doing various jobs during his academic studies such as: "The Tragedy of Josefina, 25 years later" arriving to be reproduced in Paute, the place where the event occurred. . For the end of her university degree, she decided to make the documentary “Nos Faltan 3” that narrates the events that occurred on the northern border with Colombia, the kidnapping and murder of 3 communication workers of a Quito-Ecuador newspaper. Her passion for journalism led her to find herself in various journalistic spaces, she worked in the radio program Zona Geek and she was a producer and scriptwriter on Radio La Cigarra. She currently works as Project Coordinator for Fundación Hajando Ecuador and the National Observatory of Political Participation of Women, and she is also Co-Founder of the ETE Audiovisual Production Company, associated with the Ventrílocuo Digital Agency.
